See Meadham Kirchhoff For Topshop

MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF has unveiled its new collection for Topshop - its biggest offering for the high-street brand so far, featuring 80 whimsical, technicolour pieces.

The London-based label, which comprises design duo Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff,  previously said that the range was inspired by its dream girl band, although the line also has a Magic Roundabout feel to it - particularly the footwear, in all their chunky, almost childlike glory.

There is less of the romantic darkness that diehard fans of the label might expect, although attention to detail is still paramount, as is the irreverent femininity that the designers are known for - with plenty of glitter, cartoonish motifs, pastel faux fur, frill trims and ruffles. For those looking for something more discreet, the navy camisole and pleated pastel pink dress - both decorated with lace detailing - should offer a solution.
